Being part of the committee board not only gives you an opportunity to be responsible and take charge of a range of tasks but also being part of a close knitted Malaysian family here in Melbourne itself.
Being part of the committee is fun.
Not only you will meet people from all walks of life (think of people from different faculties, campus and even universities!), but it also broadens your network which would come in very handy in the future. It may not seem as important now, but I assure you that the experience would be worthwhile!
Even if you are unsure about committing to the club, just come along to our AGM and the current committees will brief you about each position that you might be interested in taking part in. Alternatively, you could start by being one of the committee members of Malaysians at Caulfield, that way you are able to distinguish which positions that might suit you best in the future!
Our annual AGM session will be on the 11th SEPTEMBER (FRIDAY) at 4 P.M. in A 2.06!
However, if you cannot make it for the AGM, no worries just reply this e-mail and we will try to work things out!
SEE YOU THERE!

GRADUAN is the annual career and employment resource for Malaysian fresh graduates who will be entering the working world. It provides useful information regarding recruitment, job placement, industry expectations, internships, etc.
You would not want to miss this event as TOP Malaysian companies will be there to hire and offer you jobs, perhaps even before you graduate!
That said, this event is very important especially for those of you who have already set their minds about going back to Malaysia to work after completing your respective degree.
Most students would just wait until they graduate from university before attempting to apply for their job profession, which is the reason why most graduates miss their preferred companies that they would like to work with due to “insufficient experience” in the field.
With GRADUAN, this is an opportunity for you to practice your resume writing skills and at the same time to know where your qualification stands in your preferred industry and if you are competent in doing so, you might get internship(s) that would earn you that “extra experience” for your future profession!
The event schedule is as follows:
Date : 10th – 13th October 2009
10th October 2009 – Recruitment Fair
11th -13th October 2009 - Scheduled Interview Sessions
Venue : Arrows on Swanston, Melbourne
Time : 9am – 5pm
Send in your resume to resume@graduan.com.my latest by 30th September 2009. Internships and Graduate positions available!!
