Once again, all MASS members ONLY are allowed to apply for a position of their choice. All positions within the committee are available to everyone.

We are holding elections for:

8. Sponsorship Officer x 2
9. Creative Officer
10. General Committee Members x8

For the top four positions, candidates must prepare a statement as to why they should be elected.

Mooncake Festival

The mooncake festival is coming up, so don’t miss the chance to eat…MOONCAKES!!

There will be many other Malaysian dishes on the menu on the night so don’t miss out on this yearly event to indulge yourself in a buffet of Malaysian cuisine!

Not only is the event going to delicious, but there will be fun out-field activities to be played, as well as the opportunity for you guys to meet and bond with new people, and obviously to celebrate the mooncake festival together.

Mount Baw Baw (LAKE MOUNTAIN TRIP RELOCATED)

 

HI EVERYONE

From recent snow reports concerning Lake Mountain, it seems that snow hasn’t really amassed as much as we hoped over there. SO instead of cancelling the event, MASS has decided to change the venue to the wonderful MOUNT BAW BAW. It is still a ONE DAY event!!!

MOUNT BAW BAW is a unique ski resort located in Victoria and approximately 120km from Melbourne. It is the one of the most popular ski resort in Australia in visitor numbers due to its proximity to the populous city of Melbourne, mainly from casual visitors. Unlike at Lake Mountain, the venue offers a wider array of activities ranging from SNOWBOARDING,SKIING, SNOWBALL fights, building SNOWMANS, TOBOGGANING and so many more SNOWY activities!!! So just come and enjoy a lovely day with MASS while winter still lasts!!!

OH, and I forgot to mention that the scenery is one that will be memorable at your visit to MOUNT BAW BAW.

MASS Tea Party~

Hi Everyone!!!

Welcome BACK! or WELCOME to MASS new peeps!! It’s been quite a while and for now, MASS would like to invite all of you to a Tea Party on this coming Friday, 29th July 2011.What’s better than starting a new semester with sipping tea and having refreshments? And don’t forget, you will get to meet new people, make new friends, get a whole lot of *tips* from seniors if you are new to Monash, and lots more! Friend Making Party

Dear members,

This year, the taiwanese club is going to organize a Friend Making Party through the form of the famous reality TV series “ The Amazing Race”. The Malaysian Club thought that this is an excellent way to form a kind of new relationship with the clubs over in Monash and join the “Amazing Race” together with each other in different teams.

Refreshments and dinner will be provided throughout the day and a short performance will be performed by the Monash Break Dancing Club at the end of the day. 

Date:   April 9th, Saturday

Time:   Meet up at 13:15, starts at 14:00 and finishes at 19:00

Starting point:   Flinders Street Station

Charge:   $8 for members and $10 for non-members.
